		<description>Call around, and look for someone who is a Certified Gemologcal Appraiser. Not just anyone can give you an accurate appraisal.
Turnaround times and fees will vary from place to place.  Don't expect to pay less then $100 for a complete appraisal.</description>

		<description>yes go to a reputable jeweler or you could even phone around and ask what they charge before you actually choose one and take the diamond in. They should have normal flat fee for appraisal but i don't know how long it takes to get the paperwork done but I'm sure they could tell you. Probably a week or 2.</description>
