usually oral/facial piercings, such as the lip can be changed after two or three weeks… not three months…

just clean it good and you should be ok.

I would recommend that you wait the three months (or whatever your piercer told you to wait). I changed a piercing early and ended up having lots of trouble later (eventually I had to remove it altogether) so waiting a few months is worth it to have a healed, safe, piercing later on.

I think you can change it whenever you want, as long as you are careful, clean, and quick. Also, best thing IS to wait for the whole healing period.

well i know normally 6 weeks is enough but id give it 6 months cos it sometimes wont fully heal
