If I was you, I would not take any chances! I would definitely take him to the vet for xrays! If the earrings were posts, then they have a very sharp point and can easily puncture the dogs intestines other Internal Organs and possibly rip up his Esophagus. The Necklace can easily get tangled up or wrapped around the Intestines or other organs and cause severe damage or death. This applies in both cases! I think it's always better to be safe than sorry, than to take that kind of a risk, and regret it! He may need surgery, in order to remove your jewlery!

Are the earrings studs? If so, you really should take the pup to a vet for x-rays to check that the jewelery isn't compromising his digestive tract. If the necklace is on a chain, then the chain can rip his guts to pieces; the studs could perforate his gut.

Other than that, if nothing gets hung up, then they should be through in 2 to 3 days...

for the next day or so check the poop right away to retrive ur jewels, he should pass them and hopefully nothing is lodged in side. if they don't come out with in the next few days call ur vet for an xray to find where they are. when my border collie was this age she grabbed my earring right out of my ear and swallowed it and i never did find it but the vet said it would pass. i have 2 other dogs so going through poop wasn't my fav thing to do and it was not a diamond.keep inspecting the stools and i hope u can retrive ur jewery and make sure they are put up along with anything else ur pup can get. good luck

Well aren't you going to have some fun for a few days LOL.
I hope the earings and necklace don't cause an obstruction in the dog. The necklace could tangle in the intestines and the earing studs could perforate his organs.
A good lesson but a hard one in keeping everything out of reach of a puppy. They get into everything, worse than small children.
I hope you recover your diamonds and that your pup is ok.

You need to take your dog to a vet clinic ASAP. The necklace (depending on the size and build) is probably ripping Fido's insides apart.

aww... poor doggie..
But I'm more conserned about your dog's health. If he's not pucking it out, then it would come out on the back. Give it about two weeks or so.

expensive taste?

ok sorry but i couldnt resist!

I hope for his sake that it doesnt damage his bowels (hard sharp objects can actually cause internal bleeding) think you need to call a Vet or something for better advice!

goodluck!

Oh my. I think that you should take him to the vet right away. Obviously, diamonds have very sharp facets and could become snagged on one of the many twists and turns of the digestive tract. He could seriously damage himself. I'd seek medical help right away.
