definitely contact the company asap. This is not a pendant on a chain, but a complete necklace. Sometimes items are only rhodium plated to get the white gold look and it’s base material/other color gold underneath. Shouldn’t happen and a clear reason to return, complain and buy elsewhere.

The pendant itself may be real gold and diamonds, but sometimes companies put their pendants on cheaper quality chains. These chains are meant more for display purposes than actually wearing. What you are often buying is really just the pendant. You might want to contact the company about the chain the pendant is on, and if need be, get a new chain for it.

yes, i think that the chain is probably fake because, i have had something similar happen, what happens is its “14karat” and it rots out over time and is plain out fake, i think the diamonds are reall but idk
