Cleaning diamond jewelry?
ttipton24 asked:
I have a beautiful diamond cluster ring. I would like to know if there is a safe way to clean it at home with something I already have rather than buying jewelry cleaner or taking it to the jewelers. It has a lot of little diamonds and they are getting dull.

If it’s really precious, I don’t think I’d want to use anything other than a specific jewellery cleaner…or a professional clean at the jeweller.

Vinegar + water ( 2 table spoon Vinegar + a glass of hot water), or a little washing powder such as Tide or something mixed with a liquid soap and hot water. mix them well let the diamon in the liquid for about 10 mins n use an unuseful tootbrush for the unreacable parts to clean.
Best wishes
&
good luck!

soak it in hot water with few drop of mild dish washing detergent for 10 minutes…brush the bottem (if there’s opening) with soft brush like baby toothbrush (un-used ones of course)…rinse under running water….blow dry with hair dryer…it will look sparklingly new….DO NOT USED TOOTHPASTE….as it contains tiny particles that will make you diamond look dull especially when it get stuck underneath which make it harder to clean…OR you can send it to your nearest jeweller and get them to clean in ultra-sonic machine which vibrates all dirt..note:cream or talc that get stuck on the ring will also make your diamond look dull
