shopping for diamond jewelry?

i want to buy some diamond jewellery,like a ring and a 3-stone necklace.which store(like Jared,Kay,Zales etc) offers the best jewellery in terms of both quality and price?
is buying diamond jewellery at BJ’s, Sam’s Club recommended?

    My ring is from Zales. It’s over 10 years old and still look wonderful. I’ve never had a problem with it. I think that it’s better than BJ’s or someplace like that.

    Sam’s has excellent quality jewelry, but a bit expensive. I don’t like Kay or Zales has the best quality. If you want goo d quality, high grade, and excellent clarity, go to a smaller jewelry store. Even try the Jewelry Mart.

    I agree, the smaller “mom & pop” jewelry stores often have the best quality and customer service, and their prices are usually comparable as well.
    I wouldn’t buy jewelry at Sam’s Club. A friend of mine bought a mid-priced ring there and when she went to an actual jeweler to get it sized correctly, it was destroyed during sizing because the quality was so poor.

    It depends on what you want in terms of service, value, quality, etc. Stores like Kays or Zales usually offer quality - but not the highest quality and there is always a mark up.

    Check out this webpage. Read the table at the bottom of the page. There is an analysis of all the places you can buy diamond engagement rings (same applies to all jewelry really). You can see which factors are important to you and then which jewelry sources have the best rating in those factors.
