Diamond glaze not good for jewelry resin. Substitutes?

Siamese Blue asked:

I want to embed images in bezel cup type settings. Diamond glaze dries whitish, yuck. Any better substitutes? The settings may be up to 1/4 inch thick.

Aleene’s Paper Glaze is another product you can use for this. I actually used it on a similar type piece last night and it turned out clear and perfect. However, depending on the size of the piece, you may have to allow various times for drying. I did one piece that I had to wait several days before it was completely dry. This product dries to a hard, clear, plastic-laminate-like finish.
