It’s the commercial where the husband can’t wait to give his wife her gift so he wakes up in the middle of the night and gets the diamond necklace out of the old grandfather clock downstairs. He then proceeds to drape it around her neck and then goes and pretends he’s sleeping. She wakes up and sees it and leans over to him. He is clearly pretending he’s asleep and then you see a slight smile on his face. It’s soo sweet, and I love that song that’s playing. It sounds kind of like Regina Spektor.

The diamond in their grandmothers engagement ring is going to be used for my fiancees ring. Keep in mind again, the girls are splitting the jewelry evenly. Her sister got the diamond appraised for $4700 and expects half of the price as her share. I am pretty sure you would not get face value of the appraised diamond.
This affects my soon to be fiancees as the less money I put into the diamond will go towards her band.

so the questions I pose is

Rather than giving her half ($2350) , what would be a fair amount for both sides?

i bought a 1.5; is that bigger than the one they pierced it with? i shure hope so cus i spend like 40dollers on a real diamond ring!

and i saw a monroe ring yesterday that was a little heart with a diamond in the center of it. do you think that it sounds pretty?

im asking because i got a monroe piercing and i can finally change the jewlrey and i cant decide which kind i want to get first.

I have my diamond wedding rings that I am selling for lower then their value and I do not have the paper work for. A man wants to purchase them, but take them to a jeweler to get appraised to make sure they are real, etc. Does anyone know if that costs money? It will be in the Quad City area.
